Transforming Content for Engagement

Given the priority today of moving education online, Praxis has built a faculty enablement journey called “Going Online: Teaching in the Virtual Classroom”. In this online experiential workshop, faculty will learn the best practices of designing, building, and managing their own online courses.

In Step 1, faculty will design their online course with templates and best practices for building assessments, curating resources, and rethinking student activities. This Video Podcast covers the following lessons:

The Going Online journey begins with four (4) skills covering the principles and best practices of teaching online – including the difference between synchronous and asynchronous modalities and the power of online platforms.

Manage Your Virtual Class

The Going Online journey finishes with five (5) skills covering the process of delivering an online class – including enrolling students, managing a virtual classroom, and monitoring dashboards and grades.

At the end of the learning path, the faculty member will have experience delivering an online class.
