Aseto’ne (pronounced: ah-stow-Né) is the Cheyenne word for the process of growing and taking first steps.

Thus, the Aseto’ne Virtual Institute, a free, 10-week program, will provide you with the first steps and an introduction to research careers along with mentor support, and resources for academic enhancement and personal development.

The program serves both Native and non-Native students with course curriculum designed around collaboration, discussion, and mentorship. You will meet both peer and faculty mentors to discuss course content, but also help you create your pathway that leads you to a rewarding future. Upon completion, you will have gained knowledge that will guide you through your life and career, as well as a $1000 stipend.
